This is an absolutely gorgeous Malcolm Starr dress & jacket that has been made out of a wonderful metallic fabric with hues of gold and copper swirling over a navy base. The dress has a very simple and easy to wear cut that is classic Malcolm Starr in feel. The bodice is kept very simple with no sleeves and a cut that skims over the bust. This tops an well cut A-line cut skirt done that is trimmed with a blue silk satin border. The same border is used on all the edges of both the dress and jacket and acts as a pretty finishing touch. The matching jacket is well cut with long sleeves and a box cut that ends exactly at the waist. It has a double row if buttons down the front in blue and a jaunty little collar. Together the lines are lovely and the set is well made with pretty details. Of course that wonderful fabric is really the star of the show and gives the entire set a bit of glitz and glam. Excellent condition.

Both pieces are fully lined in a deep blue silky rayon. The dress closes with a back painted metal zipper and the jacket buttons to close as shown. Hidden pockets along the front seams of the dress
